Hurricane Ruth returned with her brand new album, Ain’t Ready For The Grave. Ruth talked about her wish list for this album, working with Gina and Tom to make it a reality and where she is headed.
DAVE FIELDS - Segment Begins At The 43:35 Mark
Dave returned for his third visit to The Couch. His new album is entitled Unleashed and that is exactly what Dave has done. The album contains 7 studio and 7 live cuts, so you get to hear the power of Dave’s live sets. Dave and I spoke about the decision to include the live music on this album. He also talked about the future and the music he will be sharing.
ELIZA NEALS - Segment Begins At The 1:26:25 Mark
Eliza has released 10,000 Feet Below, 11 original songs from the Detroit songstress. With Howard Glazer heading an impressive list of musicians, Eliza has come out strong once again. Eliza talked about all the things that have occurred in the last year and the goals she has set for herself moving forward.
PETER KARP - Segment Begins At The 2:02:40 Mark
Peter visited last April and returns tonight with his new album Alabama Town. His eighth album, it contains 13 original songs from this singer, songwriter, and guitarist. The album focuses on the music of his youth and Peter and I talked about the origins of some. Peter also let us know he will have TWO more albums out in the next year, so we'll be seeing(and hearing) more of him.

KENNY NEAL - Segment Begins At The 44:30 Mark
Kenny Neal has been around music his entire life…with 19 albums of his own and countless others of which he was a part. Bloodline is his latest release and it has garnered him a Grammy nomination and 3 BMA nominations. Kenny and I spoke about learning from his dad, the importance of the family, his tragedies and illness and he also put Lazy Lester on the phone, as Lester was a house guest this evening.
KING BEE - Segment Begins AT The 1:30:20 Mark
King Bee are from Montgomery, Alabama and this year represented the Magic City Blues Society at the 33rd IBC, and they earned their way to the Finals Stage. I chatted with Jeff Cummings and Dan Cunningham about their individual lives, coming together back in 2012 to form King Bee and their overall musical philosophy while listening to music from The Beginning.
