Keith Sykes does it all...singer, guitarist, songwriter, producer, record company executive...Keith makes music and makes it extremely well. On this night, we had technical difficulties that cut Keith's time short. He totally understood and has accepted an invite to come back and sit on The Couch when his new blues album is ready for release. During our short time together on this night we talked about his album Country Morning Music, which is simply Keith and his guitar and it is absolutely brilliant!

Jim Chilson is the guitarist for the fabulous Ten Foot Polecats. based out of the Worcester/Boston area, the band is on the forefront of the new 'punk-blues' movement. Their music is deeply rooted in the North Mississippi hill Country, but is played with a ferocity that has made them a hit on the emerging circuit. We spoke with Jim about his youth, the formation of the band & their new home at Bluebilly Hillgrass Records.

The son of a preacher, Stevie J (Stephen Johnson) was introduced to the "devil's music" when he met the great Bobby Rush. From that point on, his musical life has been on the fast track heading to stardom. Stevie J was awarded "Contemporary Blues Artist - Male" for the Jus' the Blues Awards in 2011. He was a finalist at the just completed International Blues Challenge and his new album, The Diversity Project is making noise in music circles. We spoke with Stevie about his journey and discussed the new album and heard three songs,
