The "Queen Of The Swamp Blues" joined me from her home in Alberta, Canada and enthralled the listeners with her depth of soul and intelligence. We discussed how she performed as a child and then left music for almost 22 years and what brought her back to it. We also received a special preview of two songs from her upcoming album, Passin' A Time (due out November 8, 2010).

MILES (THE BAND)
Marc Plotkin and Ben Jacobs are the creative force behind the band Miles. sat on The Couch with me and proved to be fantastic guests. We explored the band's beginning, from their time in HS to studies at Case Western University. Marc discussed his 'day job' marketing, promoting and building the site CitizenGroove and how it is helping music colleges find students from far and wide with less expense.

Victor Wainwright, "piana" man, lead vocalist and the leader of Victor Wainwright and The Wildroots sat on The Couch. We quizzed Victor on his perpetual "twenty-something" age status...how an air traffic controller turned musician is finding his way through the difficult music scene, his chance meeting with Stephen Dees, how that impacted his life & much more.

DUSTIN ARBUCKLE
Lead vocalist and harmonica player for the band Moreland & Arbuckle, sat on The Couch and discussed the bands formation and the years of touring that have gotten them to the point where they are sharing the stage with some big acts. We discussed the new album "Flood" and why Dustin considers it a 'spooky' album. Discussion also revolved around how the band produces their sound without a bass guitar player and the origin of Aaron Morelands 'cigar-box' guitar.

David Homyk came and sat on The Couch to discuss his new album "True Story" and how he was able to write, play all instruments, produce and mix the album without collapsing from lack of sleep. We also discussed his other careers in acting and modeling & where he expects his career to be in the next five years.

Mike Biscotti, leader of this Los Angeles based pop-rock band sat on The Couch and discussed the band's formation, and journey to this point. We touched on his writing style and where his ideas come from for the bands music, and his vision for their future.
