ELIZA NEALS
From Detroit comes Eliza Neals, a powerhouse vocalist with a background in opera who embraced the world of rocking blues. Her new album is Breaking & Entering and Eliza joined me to talk about her travels in the world of music. We also heard songs from the album.
REGINA BONELLI - Segment Begins At The 48:25 Mark
I Heard about Regina from friend Kool Breeze and was impressed with this Brooklynites vocal prowess. Regnia and I discussed her journey from playing in NYC clubs at 16 to raising two daughters on her own to the debut album, Open Up The Door, which she recorded and produced with Michael Hill.
SAMANTHA MARTIN - Segment Begins At The 1:33:18 Mark
Samantha come from the Toronto area,and is a soulful, roots blues artist with a tantalizing vocal style. She and her band Delta Sugar perform without drums or bass, but fill any space they occupy. I spoke with Samantha about her music and life and we heard some songs from the album, Send The Nightingale.
DEB RYDER - COUCH KID NEW MUSIC - Segment Begins At The 2:22:12 Mark
Deb returned with her new album, Into The Rain, which dropped three weeks ago and has already entered the Living Blues Chart. She talked about what she has been doing since her appearance on The COuch back in December of 2013, the reecording of the album and having folks alike Albert Lee and Kim Wilson make appearances on it.

SLAM ALLEN
Slam began his musical journey performing with his cousin and continued to play while getting his degree in college. He spent ten years as guitarist, lead singer and frontman for the legenday James Cotton. Now, his new album Feel These Blues is showcasing Slam as his own man, a contemporary Bluesman. Slam and I had a great talk about his life and music and he told us about a few of the ongs on the album.
ANTHONY GOMES - Segment Begins At The 47:17 Mark
Raised in Toronto, Anthony began playing in his early teens. In the late 90's he moved to Chicago and had a brief stint with Magic Slim & The Teardrops before he was recognized as "Best Unsigned Blues Band" by Buddy Guy's Legends. His music has charted on Billboard, been awarded numerous accolades and awards and now Anthony has release Electric Field Hollar with a dozen original tracks. Anthony and I discussed his music but also his academic achievements and his foundation Music Is The Medicine.
JASON RICCI - Segment Begins At The 1:32:31 Mark
Jason was named "Best Harmonica Player" at the 2010 Blues Music Awards, and has won a Grammy Award for his contribution to the 2014 Johnny Winter album Step Back. His life has been filled with joys and trials and Jason is open about all of it. This was a fun interview with Jason challenging me along the way and even chastising me at one point. In the end, I think we touched on things not discussed before.

Victor returns to The Couch for his 4th visit, this time to WORLD PREMIER the new Wildroots album, Boom Town. The albus will drop on the 26th and Victor and the band have their big CD Release party on the 30th in Daytona, FL. Victor and I spoke about the album and the touring and all that has been going on in his life, while we previewed 5 songs from the album.
