Randy is the creator of the play Ghost Of The Blues which will have a performance on Friday at the Orpheum Theater. This edition will feature Mud Morganfield, Biscuit Miller, Stacy Brooks, James Armstrong and Bobby Wilson. SEAN PINCHIN - Segment begins At The 43:45 Mark
Sean was nominated for a Maple Blues Award for Artist Of The Year in 2014 after his album Rustbucket was released. His new album, Monkey Brain dropped the beginning of March and Sean & I spoke about his career and his album, a collection of personal struggle and triumph wrapped in some stellar guitar-work.

GUY KING - Segment Begins At The 1:30:00 Mark
Guy grew up in Israel but relocated to the US in his early 20’s. Since then he has worked continuously to build his skills and fan base playing some 200 shows a year. His latest release, Truth is his Delmark debut and is a collection of originals and reworkings showing Guy’s guitar and vocal prowess. We talked about his journey and listened to the tunes.

Lisa called from the road as she makes her way to Memphis for the BMAs. Nominated for Instrumentalist-Bass (an award she was honored to receive last year), Lisa is also releasing her new album, Hard TImes, Bad Decisions and , even though I did not realize it, we got to WORLD PREMIER some songs while we chatted with Lisa.

Tony came to The Couch through good friend Kool Breeze. Torres has just released his debut album A Real Gone Time. The Pennsylvania native has played many genres of music as a sideman up until recently. Tony and I talked about learning music from his dad, and the decision he made a few years back that has helped put his life on track.

We started the show by speaking with Lisa Grissom, Festival Producer. Tall City is a Music On The Couch Festival Partner. Lisa gave us a great overview of this year's lineup and events that occur during the festival. At the end, Talent Curator, Ronn Reeger, joined us to chat.

So Thrilled! A short two weeks after his induction in the Blues Hall Of Fame, Eddy “The Chief” Clearwater came by and we had a great conversation about his growing up in Mississippi, moving to Chicago and his years of performing while we checked out tunes from Soul Funky.

HISB formed in California after Katrina had displaced the members, they have been making music over the last 10 years. Luther Dickinson produced their new album, Demolition Day. Aaron Wilkinson joined me to tell us his journey and the circumstances behind the band's formation. He also discussed the progression of the band's music over their first 5 allbums.
