HANDFUL OF LUVIN'
David John - vocalist, guitarist and composer joined me. David talked about his youth and growing up as a young man with his guitar, meeting classical violinist Andrew Joslyn and their meshing of their styles to form a duo to perform around the Billingham and then Seattle areas and how they came about finding bassist Patrick Files, and drummer Michael Knight and find the sound that they now describe as 'fiddle-driven roots rock'. We listened to tunes from Life In Between.
NANCY APPLE - Segment begins At The 52:20 Mark
We chatted about her life as a 'navy brat' and how music was important in her life growing up. We talked of her past recordings and her newest album Shine and the multitude of wonderful musicians who appear with her on the album. Nancy also discussed her 'workaholic' nature and her plans for the coming year including her desire to release 4 new recordings (one per season).

MARSHALL LAWRENCE
The "Doctor Of Blues" joined us to discuss his newest album, Blues Intervention, which is a fierce, energetic blend of blues, rock, soul, and funk. Together he calls it "acid blues." We spoke to Marshall about his history - how he went from playing in punk bands to his current love, The Blues. He described his journey from growing up in a cabin in the woods, to his time in California, his education to earn hisPh.D. in psychology. We also talked about his friend John Wilds, who unfortunately suffered a stroke while recording the previous album with Marshall.
DON RAY - Segment Begins At The 47:15 Mark
Out of Nashville, TN comes the rocking blues sound of the Don Ray Band. Don sat with us this evening and talked about his musical journey. Beginning with playing drums with his father's band at the age of 10, to his move to Austin, TX and his playing with many of the top bands from that area to his new collaboration that brings a fresh sound to the blues. This past August brought the album Lonesome Rider and its collection of wonderful songs and lyrics.

ROBERT "NIGHTHAWK" TOOMS & LEO GOFF
A special night with two incredible musicians and friends. This show was done with both guests live in my home and both on together at the same time. Robert is a desired vocalist, harp player and keyboard player. Leo is a fantastic bass guitarist and vocalist. Between them they have appeared on 100's of recordings and played throughout the world. They are both story-tellers of the highest quality and spent the evening regaling us with stories of their lives as musicians.
