So glad I was able to have Jontavious on the show. There was an on-air glitch at the beginning, but the entire interview was recorded, and we spoke about his journey so far, his deep desire to honor the traditions and got to listen to tunes from, West Georgia Blues.

From San Francisco, Otilia has released the album, Bluesin’ It Up. What FUN! Otilia is finally getting what she has been chasing. A chance for people to hear her music. You should do so.

Yes, it has taken this long to bring Ronnie on to The Couch. But what a fun time with Ronnie. We spoke about his childhood and being part of the legacy to his dad’s music and signing with Alligator and releasing Blues In My DNA, some great music right there.

SUGAR BROWN – COUCH KID NEW MUSIC
Sugar returned to The Couch for the fourth time, but the first since 2018. He has a new album entitled Toronto Bound, and he and I had a great talk about the last 6 years and his growing desire to share his music wider.

Kenny has released Ooh Yeah! on Stony Plains Records. Kenny made his 6th visit, and first since 2022. As always a fun time with Kenny talking about his touring, playing on the cruise and more.

This trio out of Ontario has released their debut album, Watch Your Step! I spent time talking to Guitarist/Vocalist Tyler Frye and Drummer Ethan “Big G” Meyers about their individual backgrounds and the band formation and goals.

Eddie returned for his 4th visit as Eddie! The new album is Saratoga, and we had a great conversation about his music, the latest tours and his future.

JEFF DALE with HURRICANE SPENCER - COUCH KID NEW MUSIC
Jeff made his 4th visit and Hurricane his first, though we did meet at the IBC I was reminded. They have joined forces and created The Hurricane Dale Thang. 13 blistering tunes. We spoke about the long journey to took to get this music recorded and Hurricane’s lengthy comeback from his stroke.
