So glad I was able to have Jontavious on the show. There was an on-air glitch at the beginning, but the entire interview was recorded, and we spoke about his journey so far, his deep desire to honor the traditions and got to listen to tunes from, West Georgia Blues.

From San Francisco, Otilia has released the album, Bluesin’ It Up. What FUN! Otilia is finally getting what she has been chasing. A chance for people to hear her music. You should do so.

Yes, it has taken this long to bring Ronnie on to The Couch. But what a fun time with Ronnie. We spoke about his childhood and being part of the legacy to his dad’s music and signing with Alligator and releasing Blues In My DNA, some great music right there.

SUGAR BROWN – COUCH KID NEW MUSIC
Sugar returned to The Couch for the fourth time, but the first since 2018. He has a new album entitled Toronto Bound, and he and I had a great talk about the last 6 years and his growing desire to share his music wider.
