Dan took his seat on The Couch back on December 09, 2013 with his album Empty Roads, which was the entrant for the 2014 Best Self-Produced CD by the Blues Foundation from the Western Pennsylvania Blues Society. Tonight he returned to talk about his latest release, Grinding These Gears, and what his life and career has been like the last three years.

Grady came by for his third appearance. His last time on The Couch was back in October of 2014 when he released Bootleg Whiskey. The ever-smiling Grady returned to talk about the newest release, One Of A Kind and what his life has been about since his last visit.

STATE OF THE BLUES & TOWN HALL MEETING
Barbara Ballin Newman, President & CEO and Paul Benjamn, Chair Of The Board from The Blues Foundation joined me for this important show. Barbara kicked it off with her State Of The Blues and then Paul talked about the Board and the direction it is heading. THEN, we opened the phone lines and the topics ranged from new membership benefits to appearances at more festivals to help boost the profile of the Foundation to upcoming changes to the IBC and the Blues Hall Of Fame ceremony and more.
