ANTHONY GERACI – COUCH KID NEW MUSIC
Anthony’s new album, Why Did You Have To Go, has not even dropped (September 21st), and it is already sitting at #5 on The Roots Music Report Blues Album Chart. Meanwhile, Anthony’s summer has been a whirlwind of festivals from coast-to-coast both as himself and also backing others. We talked about all that is going on in his kife and what is upcoming.

The newest Mick Kolassa project is The Taylor Made Blues Band, and the first album under this name is 149 Delta. Mick and his guitarist David Dunavent joined me to talk about the album, the band and wat is in their future.
WHITNEY SHAY - Segment Begins At The 1:32:25
Whitney, whose album, A Woman Rules The World was released in August and is currently sitting at #47 on the RMR Blues Album Chart joined me to talk about her life and career. We also listened to the tunes on the album and where she is heading in the future. There is a slight gap at the beginning due to a dropped call.
REGINA BONELLI – COUCH KID NEW MUSIC
Segment Begins At The 2:13 Mark
Regina released the single Put Your Hands On Me/A Little Rain Must Fall from her upcoming album, Love Letter. Both songs are receiving airplay prior to the album release. Regina and producer Tomas Doncker came by to talk about the album and they brought us two additional songs as World Premiers.

For the third year in a row, The Blues Foundation has honored Music On The Couch by joining me to talk about the state of our music and the Foundation. This year, Barbara Newman, President & CEO and Jeff Syracuse, Board Chair joined me for about 40 minutes to discuss the past year and a look into what is going on in the near future.

The conversation touched on streaming, the return of vinyl, the upcoming legislation that could increase artist revenue, and so much more. I met Rudy & Duane at Tall City this past July and knew I had to bring them onto The Couch to let them tell their story. We talked about their history both before and after they met. We also shared tunes from their album, 20 Years.
SHARI PUORTO – COUCH KID NEW MUSIC
Shari returned to talk about her newest release, Live At Bogies. Eight originals and four well done remakes, this album shows Shari the way she is meant to be heard…Live! Shari filled us in on all that has been going on in her life since she last visited. We also found out where she is heading.
BILLY HECTOR
Billy comes from the Jersey shore and if you have not heard his name before, you might not be blamed…but you have heard his guitar before. Billy has toured with Hubert Sumlin and Joe Louis Walker. He has performed at The Kennedy Center too! He and I traced his history while we shared tunes from Some Day Baby.

DUSTIN ARBUCKLE – COUCH KID NEW MUSIC
Dustin returns to talk about his new projects, The Haymakers and also Dustin Arbuckle And The Damnations. Dustin is an original Couch Kid, having appeared on show #19! Great time having Dustin back and we had some laughs as we caught up on all that has been going on in his world, while we listened to tunes from both albums.
